Weight: not sure he is very small maybe 5-8lbs.

What I want you to know about me

He is 6 yrs old and is very sad. He has shown signs of being abused. I give him a stern command with out him running away into a corner and growling and biting when you reach over to grab him. I have never had a dog that has been abused in the past. I don't know what to do to help him. I have only had him for 2 weeks...he is so quite and not hyper at all.. but he wont listen and when you try to be a little more stern with him he becomes more stubborn and then he becomes aggressive himself...I need help. I don't want to take him back to the pound and I don't want them to put him to sleep..help!

Where I live

I live in an apartment with my son and husband. we have Red his bed and his area to sleep. We have a small yard to take him outside and to let him run loose in for a little bit a day....

Here's what happened when I first met my family

he was so cute....he was happy and was very active for the first day..then he was picked up from the vet after they neutered him. he came home and was sad ever sense...but we thought that was the reason for his sadness...becasue we thought he was in pain...

Things I like

he likes to sleep all day if you let him. He like to lay down next to you on the coach or next to my feet.

Things I don't like

he doesn't like to be told to do something...or for us to talk to him sternly when giving him a command.

My favorite food

he likes Gravey train canned food.

no toys...he doesn't like any of the toys I got him

around our block in the neighborhood.

The tricks I do best

when he hears keys he is ready to go bye-bye.
