- What I want you to know about me
-
Ruby is the most amazingly fast learner, and has a strong desire to please her Mommy and Daddy. In almost any situation she is happy, and wanting to try anything new. Not much scares Ruby! From fishing in a boat, to taking long car rides, camping in Northern Wisconsin, even chasing Mom on the riding lawnmower...Ruby does it all!
- Where I live
-
Ruby lives in Rockford IL with her Mom, Dad, and fur brothers Stewie (American Bulldog/Pit), and Louis the cat. She is the queen of the house and has beds everywhere, and has even claimed her mom and dad's bed as her own...but she loves her crate. It's her special little spot.
- Here's what happened when I first met my family
-
When Ruby first came to meet us, she was actually free from someone who answered an ad I posted on Craigslist. I was looking for a new pit baby...and she was given to me at 5 months of age! She was terribly shy, didn't know how to walk on a leash, didn't know what a rawhide was, and had terrible food allergies. She was the sweetest little girl, with the prettiest Amber eyes I ever saw. I had to have her!
- Things I like
-
Ruby Sue loves Rawhides, Kongs with Kong paste, going fishing with her dad, running errands and going for car rides with her mom, going to the dog park, going for walks by the river, and meeting new people!
- Things I don't like
-
Not a fan of dogs that bark at her, or the vaccuum.
- My favorite food
-
Definitely peanut butter, although right now we feed her Innova Evo Large bites, and Chicken soup for the Dog's Soul mixed 50/50. She also gets Innova Evo wet food every few days mixed in as a treat.
- My favorite toy
-
Definitely a Kong filled with something yummy or her tennis balls. She loves her Chuckit...and I think we need a bigger yard so she can run even farther to go get the balls!
- My favorite walk
-
A good loop around the neighborhood is always nice, although her favorite is at the Forest Preserve through the trees, open fields, and river. It's about a 5 mile loop...just enough and not too much!
- The tricks I do best

Sit, Down, Stay, Stand up, Sit Pretty, Dance, Bow, Shake, Shake Other Paw, Wave Bye Bye (we're working on rollover)
