Basil was a SUPER dog. He was loving, sweet, handsome, energetic and very smart! We miss you Basil !!! 06/08/94 - 06/30/07 RIP
- Things I like

I loved hiking and swimming. I often used to go on 7 mile hikes with mom and her friends. I also loved learning and working with mom. Anything where I could put my energy to good use!
- Things I don't like

I hated getting my nails cut... even the very word toenails would make me cringe. I would only let mom cut them. I heard mom is using a Dremel for the next dog because she didn't want to go through that again.
- My favorite food

I ate anything and everything... there wasn't much I would not eat. This often got me into trouble tho.
- My favorite toy

I used to love my tennis ball the BEST! Mom always made sure I had plenty of them both inside and out. I used to love to fetch them. When I wasn't doing that I'd chew the ball like gum to exercise my jaws. I could fit 3 tennis balls in my mouth at once. I would do this if any other dogs were around so they couldn't have them.
- The tricks I do best

I knew ALOT of stuff. One special thing I knew was how to "Jump High" which meant to jump straight up, on cue all 4 feet about 2-3 feet off the ground. I also knew the names of many of my toys and could retreive them from my toybox by name. I was good at playing dead if you pretended to shoot a gun at me, "Bang"... and I acted out a slow death. I was also really FAST at agility, especially the weave poles.
