I've wanted a Ural for a very long time.  Luckily I met a guy that loved them too ( and loved animals!! )

So this year my BF, is turing the big 4 0, so he wanted to get himself something rad for his Bday. he got himself a Ural.  We were very lucky!  There was one in the neighboring town that had been kept in imacculate condition ( only have 420 miles on it - it's not even 'broke in' yet), it's a 1999 Sportsman.  Technically it's a 'Patrol' becuase you can turn on the 2WD function.  The orignal sportsman had full time 2WD - which isn't good for the street becuase it drastically changes the way the rig handles.

 So I'm very excited, so far Amber & Akyra have ridden in the side car with me.  They love it.  Akyra was a little aprehensive at first but warmed up to it, since 'mom' was right there hugging on her & telling her that it was alright.

 W'e're looking into a trailer for the ural, so we can take the whole gang along.  But that's a ways down the road considering it isn't broken in yet.

I tried to write a bit before but for some reason it only saved half of what I wrote

Today it's pretty hot, the doggies are outside, checked their water, hosed them down and hosed down the dirt areas they like to lay in.  They particularly like laying next to the house where the vents are - it's like A/C air coming out from under the house.

Bella was all excited she got doused, she loves rolling in the dirt afterwards, my little dirty puppy.  

Last night the girls got to hang out on the back porch with us. We finally got perimeter fencing up around my yard in the back so now the doggies can't get out.  At night I'll let them back there becuase they'll stay close to the patio. There are some foxtails out there so I dont want them wandering into the pasture area - thats one reason that they're not out there during the day. Also they're not allowed out there becuase Bella thinks chickens are fun to attack.
