Shelby is AKA registered under Shelby D Walker.
She is the most loyal, loving dog that I have ever owned.
Shortly after losing my late husband to cancer in 2000, I discovered that my neighbor's Golden was about to have her first litter. I begged them to sell one to me. I certainly needed the love and companionship that I had lost.
Knowing how lonely I was, my neighbors agreed that one of the puppies would be mine. I was undescribably thrilled!
She was born while I was visiting my son and daughter-in-law out of state....sadly enough...
However, when I arrived home, I saw my baby for the first time.
She came home with me nine weeks after her birth, and I now enjoy a devoted relationship.
Of course, no one could ever take the place of my late husband, but Shelby sure comes second on my list of loves!
Thank you, God, for sending this bundle of joy to me in my time of lonliness and depression.
- Where I live

Shelby's home is a place of pure love. She enjoys a large yard in which to run and play. When she is not outside playing and enjoying the crisp autumn air, she has a warm and comfy house in which she can relax with love and lots of attention!
She is allowed in any room in her home.
During the evening Shelby prefers to lie on the sofa between her mom and dad watching TV.
Our bedroom is Shelby's bedroom!
