My Heart Dog who went to the bridge in April 2004.
- Where I live

Dexy lived all over the country. He came from New Jersey but lived in Iowa, Virginia, Nevada, California and finally in Michigan where he spent his last eight years. During the Ann Arbor years we shared a house with my sister and two nieces, who he claimed as his girls.
- Here's what happened when I first met my family

My sister and I were living in New Jersey and decided we needed a dog to take on walks, so we started looking for a Golden puppy. We went to see Dexy's litter and I tried to make my sister to agree just to look, not to buy that day, right! Well, she picked the biggest doofiest pup in the litter and we went home with him. I am so glad she did not pay any attention to me!

Swimming! Walks, his cousin Elmo, swimming, treats, people and did I mention swimming?
- Things I don't like

Old English Sheepdogs.
- My favorite food

Bagels. Dexy would probably have walked through the gates of hell if there was a bagel involved.
- My favorite toy

He was a cool kong dog (for swimming of course), but he also liked soccer balls.
- My favorite walk

Dexy had many favorite places to walk, we would typically go for several miles in the morning. Any time the weather was over 50 degrees we would have to go somewhere where he could swim. My favorite memories are from the Arboretum.
- The tricks I do best

Carrying my keys and wallet around and playing AIR BUD (bopping balloons and balls off his nose).
