She's almost 14 weeks. It looks like there are a couple in her litter with waxy ear buildup like Ari. The breeder kept a puppy for herself, and her pup is having the same problems as well. I've been cleaning and drying them out nightly and they are looking a LOT less red. I also have a recipe Cally was so kind to give me that I will be picking up the ingredients for and using that!
The breeder fed Innova large breed puppy, and we've been feeding her that up until the last two days. The ear wax buildup has always been an issue. The last two days we've been making a gradual switchover to California natural puppy - since she's been having a loose mushy stool issue and we've ruled out parasites and any foriegn objects she may have eaten with the vet. She also gets plain pumpkin (just a little) to each meal (to help mostly with the stool issue). She LOVES pumpkin!
Outside of all that she's growing steadily and frisky as ever! But the ears do concern me, since I do not want any buildup to lead to an infection.
