  Re: Things your dog does to make you laugh Reply Contact  He comes flying through the house at top speed if anyone even *whispers* the word "cheese".  Even if I say "oh honey, we're out of cheese" you can bet Ben will turn up in half a second LOL. He also does this sorta mean thing which is really funny, at the park.  Ben is very, very fast and also very good at judging how fast other dogs are running....he'll get another dog to chase him and run *just* at the speed at which the other dog is running flat-out but can't quite catch Ben.  Then Ben will stop dead, turn around and run full-tilt in the other direction, leaving his poor playmate looking around with a "wha?....where'd he go???" look on his face - after it has managed to slow down and come to a stop which generally takes several yards.  He does this daily and it cracks me up every time.  To his credit, once he has done this, he stands still and waits for the other dog to find him and wrestle him to the ground, like "ok, yes, I deserve a beating for that".   Re: Things your dog does to make you laugh Reply Contact This one just happened last night for the first time, but had me cracking up.  Took Harry out in the evening (dusk) to potty, and lo and behold, he discovered fireflies.  He was completely confused as to what all those crazy little flashes of light were in his yard.  He was darting around, looking in the air for them, whining.  I know the poor guy was like, "What the heck is going on here?!" but I couldn't help laughing my butt off.

  Re: Things your dog does to make you laugh Reply Contact The question should be "What doesn't do that makes me laugh?"  This dog does something every day that cracks me up.  A lot of times it's a look he gives me.  His newest thing is doing the "ants in the pants dance" (laying on his back and wiggling like he's scratching his back on the floor), then he just stops and stares at me while he's upside down. edited to correct typos My name is Sue How do you do?

His favorite one though is to pick something up and wiggle his entire body, swinging his head back and forth. It's just hilarious.

Monroe can be a little OCD which makes me laugh.  If we have our kiddie pool in the yard and we are playing fetch he MUST run through the pool on the way to the ball AND the way back!

  Re: Things your dog does to make you laugh Reply Contact jason is so funny, when he tries to "take off" in the appartment. i have laminate floors, and he still doesnt understand that he has to start his running slow. he will literally tread in the same spot for a second or two until he gets some traction... silly dog... moca... well, she is just so clumsy. she always finds a way to trip or run into something... she takes after me, i think... She sighs a LOT, I know all of your dogs sigh but she does it very often to show discontent when I dont let her on the bed or on the couch. Since I've been pregnant she will sit outside of my open bedroom door and sigh over adn over as if she thinks it will get my attention. DH says its becasue I sigh a lot....and when I do she comes running. So I guess she learned it from me. She also gets crazy if anyone is chewing gum. She just cannot sit still or relax if anyone near her is chewing gum. Heaven forbid you blow a bubble or she'll bark at you....my lil bubbel gum nazi. When I get home he rubs his head on me like a cat and then goes and rubs the smell all over his bed. When he has discontent he does this too and will often not go to bed until he has dispersed DH and my smells evenly on his bed. He also bites the tires on my bike when he is done biking!

When we play fetch in the house (I throw a toy down the hall) and I'm sitting on the floor, he'll bring the toy back to me but swing around so his butt is towards me, wiggling in my face. Then he turns his head back, as if to say "try and get it, mama!" He's such a stinker.  He also does what Ben does with other dogs. He loves to tease.
