I keep a lot of "stuff", but mainly the paw prints on my heart. Big Smile

I have April's pictures and a candle memory with her little face on it that I light now and then.  I also kept some of her sweaters and her boots she wore in the winter.  I also have just one toy her favorite one, I'd like to get that bronzed.  I also have her halter that she wore for walks.  I also have a web page with all her pictures on it in Picturetrail.  Here is the URL if you'd like to see that.

I have my first dogs name tag on my key chain, and for all three of the current dogs, I plan to make shadow boxes with their collars and photos in them. I love the idea of planting rose bushes. I may have to borrow that one!

We are spreading my grandfather's ashes this summer, and will be spreading the ashes of his last two dogs at the same time, so he and his puppies can be together. I really like that idea too.

Auburn- that picture candle is one of the coolest rememberance items I've ever seen.  It was beautiful to imagine it lighting up her face.  (Hugs!)

    - at the rescue where Gracie came from, they planted a tree around which they've placed the ashes of every dog who has passed on in their care.  The ashes are in a pretty wooden box w/fake flower spray on the top, and is always encircled with the dogs' collars.

I have my first dogs collar or at least part of it. My next dog broke it. I never took Katya's tags off though.

My dogs have several collars. So I kept Shadow's collar but she was buried with her hunting collar and bell. I keep puppy collars and re-use them on the next pup if they fit.

I have lots and lots of pictures. I also keep a special place in my heart for my dearly departed canine companions. I can open it up and have them any time I need too.

When I lost Sayler (my horse) I kept his halter and I plan to have it framed.

I have my first horse, Sayler and Pete immortalized in oils. I would LOVE to have Maxine done, she is SO special to me.

Re: What memorabilia do you keep of your dog?

I haven't had to deal with the loss of one of my dogs yet, they're both still so young (not quite 4 and only 8 mths)  However I do have a ton of pictures and quite a few of both of their puppy teeth.  I imagine I'll keep their tags and collars as well.
