I've been doing a lot more dog sitting $15/night for 1-2 dogs $30/night for 3+. Not bad money when you add it all up. Yeah, I picked up an extra shift on Sunday, but they sent me home after an hour because it was just too slow, and I've been trying to get shifts this week, but no luck. My normal shifts are Wed, Sat and Sun, but I don't even have Wed this week. Good news is, rebate checks are coming sooner than I thought, according to DH. I was doing some dog sitting too, but the dog I sat for regularly started to not get along with Frosty as Frosty got older. Reply Contact Sweet!  Just in time.  Question for everyone, the IRS web-site indicates we should have received something by mail notifying us of the deposit, amount, etc.  I haven't received anything.  Has anyone else?  I direct deposited my return this year so I am expecting direct deposit for this as well.  Although I am in the last category per my SS. Reply Contact I haven't received this, neither has my mom or my aunt or my MIL since I was worried about it.  I think it comes into play if you get a lower amount this year but when you do your 2008 taxes you find you should get more, you need to prove how much you got the first time.  which might be us since DH has a lot of education credits for 2007 that he won't for 2008 so our tax situation will really change.  I've been keeping an eye out for it, but no luck yet.... Then again, I'm in the first catagory to get my money, the 00-20 SSN which is due this week and it's Tuesday and I still have it, so I wonder if they are doing some each day?  I'm -17 so I should be early on? Nicole & Sammy

Even if the IRS website doesn't have the info, you should be able to find out by looking at your checking/savings account on-line.  My understanding is that they're sending out something like 800,000 on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, then taking Thursday off to prepare for sending out a really huge amount on Friday.
