Raw. We're using the Bravo patties, right now, with added veggies.

Re: POLL: What's Your Dog's Diet?

For breakfast they each get a cup of kibble (TOTW for KayCee, Purina One wight control for Honey) plus a spoon of plain yogurt for digestion and a spoon of applesauce just because they like it.  For supper they get about 1 1/4 to 1 1/3 cups of their kibble and about 1 1/4 cups of home cooked Chicken stew 5 nights a week, canned salmon or mackeral (or fresh caught and cobaked fish) the other two nights.

Their chicken stew consists of 5 pounds of chicken thighs, 3-31/2 pounds chicken necks, 1-1 1/2 pounds of cut up beef liver or chicken gizzards and sometimes chicken liver with the gizzards or a pound of ground turkey.  Also, 1 pound bag frozen green beans, fresh cut up apples and sweet poatoes and usually some yellow or green squash.  is done 24 hours in crock pot.  I get to freeze a few bags of it and then i don't have to cook every week.

Re: POLL: What's Your Dog's Diet?

Jessie gets kibble, canned, and home cooked; I'm thinking about going to canned and home cooked without kibble. She's doing great, especially for nine and a half, but I want her food to be less processed and fresher.

Re: POLL: What's Your Dog's Diet?

Cats: Kibble with some canned fish

Dogs: Prescription kibble working towards 100% homecooked, but it's a LOOOOOOONG transition since they're both sensitive to sudden dietary changes.

Re: POLL: What's Your Dog's Diet?

Willow gets a canned diet with fresh meat added and/or a simple homcooked meal with one carb/one protein.  She's not getting kibble anymore at all.
