Reply Contact Wow, 45 people dead so far!!  I didn't even hear about this until just now! http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/weather/02/06/tornadoes/index.html I hope idoggeres are okay and their families and friends!!!!  Another edit - I don't know how to check where people on this board live, but Truley, one of my swap partners is in Kentucky!!!  Ohhh I hope everyone is okay!!

I am fine here, the only other 2 that I know of that are active on the board that are also from Kentucky are kle1986 and Ridgeback. Both are east of me.   Re: Tornado last night?? Reply Contact Storms at night are just plain nasty.  The sirens went off in town at about 12:15am this morning. My DH was up and monitoring everything. And this was our second brush with nasty weather over a 7 day period, we actually did have a tornado touch down in town last Tuesday and it bounced all over a 12 mile stretch, it started about a mile west and north of my home and ended less than a mile from my work. All structure and tree damage, no one hurt.

I was watching the Today show an they were interviewing a woman who was crying and said she didn't know what happened to her dogs and horses. It broke my heart and I can't imagine what that must feel like. So sad. ~ Cathy ~

Reply Contact  No tornadoes here, but quite the snowstorm.  It's been coming down since late yesterday afternoon, and this is what it looks like outside here: You can't really tell, but it's still coming down and I think we're only about half done with the snow so far.  We started with an inch on the ground yesterday afternoon before the snow came and we're working on 16 inches!  My husband got sent home early from work (whew) and then found that the car won't start.  We'll see what happens, I hope he gets here soon.   Jessica

And for the record my sister is in your neck of the woods, sorta, she is over in Genoa City and my parents are south of you just over the border in McHenry. My folks said this is the snowiest winter they can remember for some years, and im sorry im missing it!
