What breeds typically have pigmented gums?

    The breed standard for  Rotties states that dark pigmentation is desirable for lips and gums also.

    Thanks for the clarification...guess I thought that you were referring to pigmentation.. My Spoo has dark spots on his tongue.

    My aussie also has black spots on his gums. It kind of goes with his merle color scheme. Smile  I hadn't ever thought of it, but I guess some dogs don't have that.
