This is a little off topic I guess but I have never heard of feeding raw meat to dogs.. Please could someone tell me why this is done? Is it for certain breeds ?

Raw meat is fed to dogs because, as opportunistic scavengers, that's what they evolved to eat and many feel that a diet based primarily on what they are designed to eat is best for their health.

Raw meat and bones are what dogs have evolved to eat for eons,it is the perfect diet for them.Wild dogs dont sit down to a can of food or a bag of kibble Big Smile

I'm sure you have heard of feeding raw meat to dogs, seen all of the raw products in pet stores, and the big marrow bones in the meat departments?? Dogs are carnivor's,what should carnivor's eat?Surely not kibble.. MEAT.

I am not a hard core raw feeder, but i do incorporate it into my dogs diet. If someone were to ask you what would the ideal food for a dog be,and you really thought about it,would your first response be kibble?
