Does anybody have a suggestion for a product? I've been searching around a few websites and found some information but I'm just curious if the stuff really works.

If you do use pumpkin, pure pumpkin with no spices...nothing added. Bland diet is good too. If you are inquiring along the lines of herbs/supplements, I'm not sure but maybe callie can help you with that.

I did some research in the meantime and found some info on these sites: The Pet Center - Scary Pictures Dog Diarrhea The first site had some intense photos...I'd only recommend it for those with a strong stomach. The second site had 'homeopathic' cures. I'm not too familiar with this type of treatment but I figured I'd try one of their recommendations. I think it was roonipoo??...anyways it seemed to work. Thanks for the info though!

About a year ago Jessie had 10 cases of diarrhea in twelve hours, so I called my vet and he recommended Immodium and it worked like a charm; I think I only needed to give her 2 doses. He also recommended a bland diet of meat and rice for a few days, and he wanted a stool sample to check for parasites. If you haven't done so yet, you should probably take a stool sample to your vet.
