  How can it be a whole year??? Reply Contact  How can it be a whole year that my sweet Dancer is gone?  Maybe because I still say goodnight to ALL my dogs each night, here or not, I simply lost track of time.  But, she is still the most missed... In our family we have a tradition the day of and every anniversary after we light a candle...celebrating the life of the pup we loved so dearly.  In honor of your Da's dog I just lit a candle, scented with jasmine the aroma of rememberance.  It is never necessary to ignore them simply because we had to say good bye.
