Carla is ABSOLUTELY right -- and every single person's food triggers can be completely and wacko "unique". For me it's "too much" caffeine (more than one cup of coffee in the morning), coffee and NUTRASWEET!!! (and a bunch of the same ones as Carla)
In fact, you can take a "little" of any of those and put it on the wrong day of my cycle and it = headche!! Another day it's no problem!! The week before and the week after tend to be the 'worst'.
Nutrasweet is horrible for me -- and I can't taste it so if I wind up with a diet drink by mistake I'm screwed!!
In fact, I went for years not knowing that my migraines were truly "migraines" -- I thot they were 'just' headaches. UNTIL they got worse.
The phases of the moon can also add to the effects -- and no, that's not just "an old wives' tale" -- think about it. We're like 95% water ........ and the moon's pull on gravity is SO strong that daily it completely manipulates the seas and oceans and the "tides" -- So if the moon's pull is strong enough to alter that enormous quantity of water, then how much more is it gonna affect lil old me???
Particularly if it is migraines, you may honestly want to try a topical -- it's better than ripping your liver out with pills.
