If you have a tip or trick for the new layout

    Post it here.

    AVATAR'S...

you can upload direct from your puter to the site, and that might or might not work.

However, if you UPLOAD to photobucket or similar...direct links from there work immediately.

In your "edit profile' area...go to the "site options" and choose ENHANCED as your Content editor.

Posting got simpler for me when I did this. No technical know how as to why...LOL.

    Things seem TOO SMALL?

Go to your edit profile...profile settings...then Site Options...then Font Size, and choose LARGE or heck, even bigger for your display. I am using Large now and it's much easier. I'll probably swap back but simply checking it out...it seems a nice size that didn't affect my viewing much for the negative.

I have to keep scrolling left and right to read the posts.  If I am all the way over to the right I can read the post, but not see who wrote it.  I tried changing it in my internet options, but it didn't work.  Any ideas?

I have this tag edit thingy at the bottom of all my posts.  Anyone know how to get rid of it?

When you click on a member's name it brings up their profile.  The photo shown on the left side of the screen will remain blank/grey until the pet info has been filled in and a "show first" checked...checking which pet you want to show first will show the image you have uploaded for that pet.  Make sense?

Hitting "quick reply" is a lot faster than hitting just "reply."

    Mark All Read

Took me a while to figure this one out, so maybe someone else needs help.

    Mark All Read:

Go to area or section of forum where you want to mark all threads "read"

    Scroll to bottom of screen

    Click on More Options

At the bottom of that window, you have the option to mark all posts in that section of the forum read (it's like crossing things off of a to-do list!)

Cathy, I had the same question and Carla told me that nobody could see it except for me ... and she's right because  I can't see it on yours.  I decided  to treat it the same as I do dog hair ... just ignore it ... since nobody but me can see it anyway. Smile

    Re: PM Notification

I just noticed that when you send someone a PM, you can click for a post notification...just like in a normal thread.  Don't know if it works but we'll see.  At least if you send someone a PM, you possibly can get notified when they reply.  I'll let you all know if it works.

Well, it worked!  I did not recieve an email notifier or a pop-up but a number manifested itself next to the word inbox at top of main index page and profile/home page.  COOL!

    Tags

Either while your composing your post or afterward, if you click on the "Select Tags" button, you'll see a list of tags already used in that particular forum. You can check the boxes of appropriate ones and add them to your post as well.

    Thanks DPU for that tip!
