    Multivitamins for Emma (chromium picolinate?)

So, I've been using my Google skillz, and having a HARD TIME finding something suitable. I was almost ready to go pick up some kids' multivitamins, then I clicked on 1-800-PetMeds. I've never ordered from them.... Anyhow, they have TWO vitamins she could have.

The first is their SuperVitaChew. It has billberry, milk thistle, saw palmetto, and lots of vitamins and minerals. It has fish oil, brewer's yeast, and beef, all fine, for her.

The other is their Healthy Glucose Multivitamin. It has chromium picolinate, to help regulate blood sugar. Emma doesn't have blood sugar issue,s that I'm aware of, but she is epileptic. She eats, and gets her meds, at the same time, every day. She is more likely to seize near dinner time, but I always assumed that was related to her drugs, rather than her food dish. It also has fenugreek, which is a diabetic healthy herb.  It has pork and beef, and brewer's yeast (again, all fine).

Is the Healthy Glucose one safe for a dog without diabetes? Will it hurt her, at all? Anybody? I like that it doesn't have any sweeteners in it. She'll eat whatever I hand her, so that's not an issue.

I know chromium picolinate speeds up your metabolism.  I've used it to help with weight loss.  Is Emma the one that has trouble keeping weight on?

She used to, but in the last year, she's gotten quite fat. I've finally gotten her down to a manageable size, by feeding her half of what she should be getting. That's why I'm looking for a multi. Thyroid is fine, according to Michigan State. She doesn't move around a whole lot, any more.

I'd go with the less specific one. You are just looking to improve on her micronutrient base so if you add something suspicious you'll never know whether it was that or the multi just not working for her.
