Where does your dog sleep at night?

All four of mine sleep in their own seperate wire crate at night. It's the only time I use crates, never during the day. They know now that when it hits the evening, it's time to wander into their crates. They're crates are all lined up beside each other in the back porch/entrance, so they can still keep each other company. They all have lots of blankets and stuffies, so they're comfy. First thing in the morning, they get let outside to go potty and stretch their legs. I used to feel guilty at first, but I can't possibly allow 4 dogs in bed with me and DH. And to only allow one or two would just be unfair. What about you guys?

All three dogs here sleep in my room, but on the floor or in crates, not on the bed with DH and I.  Ziva and Maggie, being the adult dogs in the house, sleep on dog beds loose in the room.  Laddy, being a pup and a foster, sleeps in his crate.  Dogs are not allowed to wake us up unless it's an emergency and the only time a dog gets on the bed is if there's a storm - Maggie is afraid of them so DH and I let her sleep between us during them.

Re: Where does your dog sleep at night?

Max starts out on my bed then some time durring the night goes and lays in my adjoining bathroom (especially in the summer cuz it's cooler in there)

other times he just lays next to my bed on the floor,
My current foster dog sleeps on Maxs' bed on the floor.

The cats however is another story...

Spice will sleep at the ned of the bed (or on top of me) Sugar sleeps under the covers with Squirt. Splenda sleeps to my right and Spalin is still anti-people so she sleeps in the living room. My foster cat Samantha sleeps on the floor infront of the crate that holds her babies (the top is open so she can get in and out as she pleases)

In the winter Apollo sleeps in bed with Jeremy and I. But now, he's on his own bed on the floor of our bedroom. Molson sleeps with Apollo- wherever Apollo is Molson is too. Patty sleeps at the foot of our bed curled up in a tiny little ball.

Pirate usually starts out with me on the bed, but then moves to either the floor, his bed by the window, or his crate. Usually if I'm not up in the morning he'll end up back in the bed once BF leaves.

Under the covers, Emma on the left, Ena on the right. Neither dog is very good at retaining warmth. Emma seems to be developing some sort of circulation issue, so she needs to stay close to be warm. Ena has no hair, LOL.

It's a mix. Sometimes in crates, sometimes on the bed, sometimes on the floor. Although, Neiko is never in a crate anymore.

Casey sleeps in bed - usually by my feet.

Cadie sleeps on the floor, sprawled out as far as she can stretch.

Chyna, Schatzi, & Shooter usually sleep in their beds or on the couch in, what would be, the nursery off of our bedroom.  Recently, Chyna has decided that she prefers sleeping in bed with one of the boys.

Brinxx sleeps on a bed in the small sitting area outside of our bedroom.  (She's the protector.  If anyone wants to come up to our bedroom, she attacks them & licks them to death before they can get to us!)  Recently, she, too, has decided that sleeping in bed with one of the boys is a good thing.

Bevo sleeps in bed with us.  DH sleeps on one side of me.  Bevo sleeps on the other side between me & the door.

The current foster sleeps in his crate in our bedroom.

Re: Where does your dog sleep at night?

these days all over the place.

used to sleep in his crate in the kitchen, then crate in family room, then in family room, then in our bedroom, then about a month ago he started wandering at night.  Two most likely places are in the family room or in our bedroom next to the bed on my side.

He has a bed in our room, one in the family room, one on the ground floor, and his crate is still up in the thrid floor (home theater)

Re: Where does your dog sleep at night?

Caleb sleeps downstairs in the livingroom.  Some mornings he comes upstairs somewhere between 6 & 7 (right before I get up), and puts my slipper in my face.  Once I get his itchy skin under control, he'll probably start sleeping upstairs with us again (he was keeping us up with his chewing and scratching).

    All the Angels were busy
so they sent me Caleb instead.

Max sleeps on my bed on one bottom corner, but he often inches up during the night.

Lily sleeps with us in the bed usually at my feet because I'll make room for her to sleep there. Ben sometimes gets mad in the middle of the night and will kick her out. When he goes to work Lily sleeps on his side and snuggles with me.

Always in bed with me and my husband (unless I sleep on the couch and then they follow me there). Gingerbread is on top of the blankets like a paperweight and Peanut is usually under the covers.
