Really Need Healing Vibes for a Very Special Dog --- Update

One of the dogs in my play group has a mast cell tumor on his paw.  He is scheduled for surgery on Monday.  Please, everyone, would you all send the famous i-dog vibes so that he makes a full recovery.  We are so worried about this guy - he is truly a once in a lifetime heart dog for his mom - and for us, too.

Wilson did well in surgery and is recovering, but there was not enough skin to close had they removed the whole tumor, so it was not a complete excision.  Everyone is awaiting the pathology report, as the vet has indicated that there is a possibility that the tumor is still benign.  The presence of mast cells alone in an aspirate does not always mean *bad*.  However, long road ahead if the report is not good.  Please continue to hold this special dog in your prayers.  He really is a once in a lifetime great boy.

Mast cells are NORMAL.  They are histamine cells ... the big deal is the 'age' of them.  That's how mast cell cancer is 'graded' .. but mast cells are normal and all dogs (and humans too) have them.  But at grade 1 they are normal healthy cells.

Another update --- Wilson's tumor was Grade 2, so he will need further treatment.  We are very worried, and hope you will all add to our prayers for Wilson's health and to uplift his mom, who is feeling very stressed.  She's only 29, but this is probably her dog of a lifetime.  When I tell you that dogs like this don't come along very often, I'm not kidding - and you all know I see a lotta dogs.  He is so special to all of us, I can't believe this is happening.
