    I don't usually ask... Update - 3 embryos transferred!!

but with the power of  idoggers, I will this time.  My sister really wants a child.  They've been trying and have had no luck.  They begin treatments to begin the process of IVF next week.  I was hoping some idoggers could send prayers, good baby vibes and the like for her to have a successful treatment.  If this doesn't work, she may be out of options for a child of her own.  So she will need all the prayers and baby making vibes you guys can send her way.

You've got them; sending lots of fertility vibes. Here's hoping you're an aunt this time next year.

I will say a prayer for your sister, and I do hope you will be an aunt next year.  My dil had problems a few years ago.  She had tests and treatments.  I am now the proud grandmother of two of her children, a girl and a boy.  I also have another wonderful granddaughter. Keep us updated on the progress.

You've got my prayers of course!  My daughter had IVF, and she is now 6 months along, so these miracles do happen!

    Re: I don't usually ask...

Thank you guys!  She has begun the shots to suppress the ovaries this week.  She does one injection a day for two weeks and then she does 3 injections a day for 2 weeks to superovulate.  After that is harvesting and then fertilization and then IVF.

One of our friends just announced they're pregnant.  <sigh>  And I found out AT my sister's house last night after we finished watching the last episode of Sex and the City where the rich girl gets a picture of the kid she's going to adopt.  What an emotional night it was for my sister.

I really, really hope this works for her.

I'm late seeing this, but sending good vibes for your sister.  One of my friends had to have IVF, and it was successful after a few attempts.  It took a bit longer than they'd hoped for, but now they have 3-year-old twins who are as cute as buttons.  But I remember the emotional roller coaster it was for them - here's hoping things work for your sister!

happy healthy baby vibes for your sister!  I think someone who goes through that kind of effort to become a mom truly understands and appreciates all that it entails.  Best wishes to her and her family!

    Re: I don't usually ask...

Thank you all for the good vibes, prayers and well wishes!   Keep 'em coming!

So tomorrow is her last day of shots before the trigger shot.  She gets that tomorrow night if the apt tomorrow is good.  So then the retrieval will be on Friday morning.  If all goes well, she will be implanted with fertilized eggs on Monday morning with bed rest for two days.  Then it's wait 10 days to do a pregnancy test.

I really, really hope this works for her.

Re: I don't usually ask... Please send baby vibes!!

So yesterday my sister had 3 fertilized eggs transferred and she's on bed rest yesterday through today.  Please keep those baby vibes going her way!  She so wants to have children and I really want her to be happy and to have this.  Send prayers, thoughts, vibes and cross fingers, toes and paws for her that the eggs are happy and develop normally and all goes just fine through her pregnancy.
