I manage my Dog.com stuff by sending it to my Yahoo account (I only get a few forums sent -- not all) -- then I can click on "subject" at the top and just delete all the duplicates and the ones I have no desire to deal with. I don't have to take them in date/time order that way AND if a thread it out of control with a zillion posts to something I've no interest in or can't help with I just delete them.
I fact, if possible I do this a couple of times during the day when I get a couple of minutes and the ones that are left that I DO want to address that night I simply 'move' to a sub-directory I've created in Yahoo mail called "I-Dog"
For me it manages it all pretty easily and there's less wasted time and clicking around. My time is toooooo closely monitored otherwise.
