Geez, another shooting??  Praying for the people there and their families.

So, I told ya'll about the Visa program deal with our company.  We had some jokers in yesterday for interviews.

We scheduled them all for the same time, so while BF was interviewing one person, the rest waited their turn.  I was chatting with them, and mentioned the dogs, and this one loser proceeded to tell me all about his "blue nose pit" and his 140 lb "Staffordshire Pit," bragging about how he paid $800 for it. Zip it!

Why, why, why.....does somebody take an hour out of my day to come see Aspen, a Staffordshire Terrier mix, only to call back twenty minutes after leaving and say that the wife was uncomfortably with how much "pitbull" was in him?? *sigh*. That's the second family who did that.....yes, I know, people are not generally brilliant about dogs, but it's still frustrating. Here's to the next family I have set up to come see him...hoping for better luck and more understanding of Staffies.

    JackieG:

LOL - Thanks for sharing that.

I doofed up and thought we had Monday off but found out that we actually have Wednesday off. No big deal but I'm glad I realized as I was telling one of our teachers we were off Monday. He was like "oh really? Cool" and then I looked at our work calendar Embarrassed

I ended up going to Jack in the Box on the way back from the gym. Nothing like cancelling out all the exercise you just did but it was yummmmmy good and well worth it.

    Re: Mc tgif

I have a referral to a doctor and it is the most irksome process ever. I hate talking on phones, and I especially hate talking on phones to rude receptionists.   It is making it needlessly frustrating.

The first doctor I was referred to doesn't take my insurance. So that's spiffy.  Then got another doctor's name, called them and the receptionist won't even give me any estimate as to what the amount I'd have to pay would be.  It is out of my network, so I'd have to pay a certain percentage, but she won't even give a ballpark.  I'm not going to drive for an hour and a half and then discover that I am supposed to pay several hundred. In addition, the doctor isn't available on my day off, and the receptionist cut me off midsentence..completely ignoring what I was saying.

So, called to ask about a doctor in my state..it adds about an hour and a half drive, but at least it's the flat, in network copay. So, they're looking into it and will get back to me.

I'm almost ready to give up on the doctor entirelyStick out tongue

Karen, you can call Bugsy many things but "little" isn't one of them!

Grab, if you'd like, I'll call the rude doctor's office for you.  I'm in the mood to screw with someone, so I'll happily talk with them for you!

I am still a bit tipsy & slurring this afternoon.  My secretary informed me that she has called DH to come pick me up.  I was planning on calling a cab but DH works too!

    Edit:  Serious typo!

Is "slutting" a verb? If yes, then I'm sure your DH will be very happy to pick you up. Wink

Grab, call your insurance and tell them you need a certain type of Dr. in your area and see if they will negotiate a rate for you or find one they will contract with for you, some companies will help you find someone willing to work with you. AND call your insurance and ask for your benefits, both in and out of network.

    In network=contracted rate

Out=can charge what they wish to a degree.
