  Mexico Pictures (mrstjohnson) Reply Contact Here are a few pics from our trip to Cancun a few weeks ago... Our daily visitor by the pool Watching the morning sunrise from our balcony Where we would spend our afternoons (the jacuzzi beach bar - 60 person hot tub of fun!!) Our favorite taco stand...nothing like order $4 jumbo beers and $1 pork tacos and watching the world go by As a result of hurricane in 2005 the beach still isn't the same.  Normally there are lounge chairs and tables where this rock is Our traditional picture.  We have been taking this same shot every year for the past 8 years, you can see the resort in the background.  One day I will line they all up so you can see how we have aged over the years (probably from too much sun and cerveza!!) Your pics are beautiful.  We stay at the Omni Cancun.  It's not the most new hotel; however, the people there are amazing and we are so comfortable there.  The pool is the best part.  I can't going to a hotel and having to jockey for a spot by the pool and there is always room there, even in high season.   Re: Mexico Pictures (mrstjohnson) Reply Contact  We stayed at the "older" Radisson (Parisso?) at the time. I think it has either been sold or torn down. There was a newer one down the beach a ways. What cracked me up was walking through the pool area to get to the beach. HHMMM do you "need" a pool? LOL We had a great time we were there for 10 days. I could use it again. Wonder if they allow dogs? ;-P

And now I know who Riley looks like!  I think this is the first time I've seen her daddy.  Before, I kept trying to find bits of you in her and wasn't having much luck.  Maybe she's got your personality? Well my family lives there, thats why. We always stay at an hotel too because we want to lay down by the beach every day which could never do if we stay at my mom's We will be staying at the Aqua, relatively new Hotel, we visit my godparents there in September too and the Hotel is just amazing, 8 pools each one with different temperature and they use aromatherapy in every floor including be able to change the smell of your own room if you want to. Totally relaxing environment, you feel like you could do Thai chi at the lobby hehe I have been in almost every Hotel in Cancun (due to my Dad having a hotel related business back in the day) and the Aqua is just different I like the Omni just because it has a McDonalds right across the street "There are not bad dogs, only bad owners"

That would just about explain our feelings too!  We are totally obsessed and we don't even have anyone that lives there.  We can only afford to go back about once a year.  We are already looking into booking next year's vacation.  I can't wait until Riley is old enough to go (probably two more years). I heard the Aqua is gorgeous! espencer: Ilike the Omni just because it has a McDonalds right across the street Before the hurricane in 2005, there used to be a Dominos across the street, just as you got off the bus.  It was the best!  We would get back from partying, stop afnd grab a pizza and walk up to our room!  Man I miss that Dominos! If you like the forests you should take a visit to the state of Chiapas never been there myself but we have friends that are from that area and if you like Macaws, trees, caves, and rivers thats the place to go. Jalisco is a good state too, I was born there and remember some stuff and with my uncle here you never stop hearing the places they have down there.
