Depending on what her levels are, you may want to look towards starting her on milk thistle & a diet that is easy on her liver. When I worked in a clinic, we used deferoxamine on our iron toxicity dogs.  As I recall, it was expensive, but we did have good success with it. Amanda

  Re: I need some Abbie healing vibes :( Reply Contact No update yet but I did have an email conversation with a lead vet at msu. He was going to call my personal vet to discuss the issue. He did say though that at 7 days he suspects she will be ok To add insult to injury though, It seems as though I have the swine flu as of this afternoon and now have a 101 temp and feel like crap! I hope no emergencies come up this weekend.
