Campbell (Bugsy's buddy) needs some good thoughts....update

I'll make this as short as possible - he is about 14 months old and feeling good.  he isn't getting the exercise he needs, this combined with the fact he is without doubt a "knucklehead" means he has been doing so crazy stuff.

Last evening he decided to jump off an elevated deck to chase a squirrel.  He did not land well and wound up with trauma to both lungs and had to have air removed from his chest cavity last night and spent the night at NC State vet school.

On top of the trauma to his lungs they are concerned about his already bad heart............

So send your best healing vibes and some brain cells to this guy - he has done so many things to damage his health I can't help but get a pit in my stomach that he will not be here long at this rate.......................

    thanks

Sending healing thoughts for Campbell.  It's so scary the harm dogs can do to themselves, just being dogs.

thanks ladies - I have been working with his owner to encourage her to do more with him exercise and training - apparently Mr. owner is at the end of his rope.  Campbell is either damaging himself or the house Tongue Tied

For instance, about a month ago or so he ate poison mushrooms in the yard and had seizures.  It is literally always something with him.........

he is such a sweetie I sure hope he makes it through all of this and his owners step up and get him some proper exercise.  I have been recommending doggie daycare because they are an older couple and not into exercise.

    sorry rambling...............

Awww, poor Campbell. I hope he recovers from this just fine and realizes he's not a cat with 9 lives. I'll keep thinking good thoughts for him.

UGh he was released from the hospital yesterday but last night struggled to breathe again so back to the hospital he went.  He is there now and will stay through tomorrow morning

More air had escaped and they had to release it from his chest cavity again............
