It was so funny. There were 8 similar sized stockings (for the kids and grandkids) and then one HUGE stocking (for the dogs to share). It made everyone crack up. Inside the stocking were various soft toys, flavored tennis balls, and treats. One by one I took the toys out and tossed them around the room. The 5 dogs were crazy with joy - running around, tossing them in the air, stealing them from one another. It was fun to watch them. And of course, I got razzed about getting the biggest stocking for the dogs!

Brown had a Kong Wubba. Grey had a Cuz chicken. Tar had a new set of squeaky tennis balls. Everyone also got a bunch of meaty goodness (and leftover rice dressing).

I saved the wubba and duck from my secret santa to put in their stockings...they went bananas for both and my house was wild yesterday! They also got some vanilla pig ears, which wyatt threw up 10 minutes later, lol. They also got some pork femurs and bacon treats. I haven't give them the other egg baby i bought for them yet...there are literally like 25 toys in my living room and it's driving me insane!!

The girls each got a new stuffie and a sweet potato chew (found ones made in NC! yay!). For dinner they and our foster got some added canned food with their normal kibble.

The cat got more stuff since he's the newest addition. He got a pop up hidey cube, a stuffie, salmon treats, and a mat for lining his ex-pen (vs. the ld drop cloth we had been using). He also got a bed last week. I'm considering getting him a cat tree with some of my holiday money, but I'm not sure yet.

My boss gave me $15 to our shelter's store which is way awesome because I'm in charge of stocking it so we actually have good stuff in it now. I'm thinking that I'll get the critters a treatstik, some cloudstar treats, and maybe one of the cushy beds a volunteer makes for us. :)

Our dogs both got new beds and then they got some squeekies and replacement stuffies they loved and tore apart before.

Between me, & 2 secret santas the kids made out like bandits. Marty_Ga got the kids a mess of stuffies. Their favorite is definitely the gingerbread house. We ALL had a blast yesterday playing with all our new goodies. I'll post pictures once I get everything transferred to my new computer.

Ben has the skunk one of those, he LOVES that thing.

That's Kirby's all time favorite stuffie at the moment. He has a fox one and loves it. I love it for the fact it has no stuffing so I don't have to worry about him de-stuffing it like all his other plushie toys.

Kirby made out like a bandit. I have so much fun getting him gifts, because he is the first pet I've had who will open his own gifts. He was such a good boy, and would run off to his bed to open any gift you gave him, but didn't touch any of the (people) gifts under the tree.

From me he got a Babble Ball (seriously the cutest little talking toy ball ever)

And a very nice Andis Dog Hairdryer with stand which I'll be using for myself too since I just burnt my old hairdryer trying to blow dry him from his last bath.

He also got a ton of yummy scraps since he was invited over to the family Christmas get together. Was a little well mannered gentleman, and I kept getting offers from friends and family that if I ever didn't want him anymore feel free to send him over to them.

mine usually get christmas gifts, other than some yummy treats, but christmas eve i ran into ikea to get some wrapping paper (yes, it is right around the corner from my house, and yes, it's rediculous that it's the only place to get some decent wrapping paper...) and the dog beds were on sale, and i got them for 1/3 of the normal price AND they can be machine washed, so i got one, and am now thinking if i should run back and get another one... hmmm.....

Today, everyone got two new stuffies, & a bully stick.

We are out of town for the holidays, but I have inside information that "Santa" has left everyone a new Bingo Box Bed at home. I believe that he also left wubbas, everlasting treat balls, & more stuffies. There is also a goat awaiting them in the freezer. They will have to wait until Bev is off prednisone before they can have it though.

Is that the soft gingerbread house with three gingerbread men little stuffies w/squeezies inside that you stick inside the house with some treats and they are supposed to pull them out???? My girls have the big bee hive w/three bumble bees and the small tree trunk w/three squeeky squirrels. These kinds of toys are our new obsession. They actually stay interacted with them and have a blast!!! Sometimes I put small goodies inside under the babies. We love them!!!

Last year, SS got Shadow a Wubba and he destroyed it the first night.

This year, Shadow got two tug ropes, one of them with a duck canvas toy with a squeekie in it called mail truck. And some dried chicken breast treats. Jade got a rolly scratchy toy with a bell on it and catnip in it. And a tin of gourmet cat food that she seems to enjoy, but she won't eat all of it. She has some and then leaves it, so we keep putting it back in the fridge.

Willow got a pink coat, a red ball that blinks and makes all these different noises when it bounces, Pedi Paws (which she isn't crazy about), a Happy Muzzle (oxoxo). And, she went on a big ride and went to two different parks today. She also came to the party at my parents. Cosmo, my brother's Scottie, let her share some of his fish/potato kibble too. And, I gave her the biggest kiss fest she's ever had, kiss, kiss, kiss, I love this dog, your mama's baby, my Willow. . .she was like ugh, GAG, let me go!

I usually go see what's on sale after the holiday's too. And, we clean up a bit and give away stuff she isn't using anymore. She's got so much stuff we don't even need.

My dogs really enjoyed turkey drippings, and scraps that fell off during the cooking. They also had some sweet potato. They always love the cranberry sauce that I make, too.
