Well if you saw the Vizsla display with the 5 star verstility, that was me and some others.... I love IKC and will be there next year too!

We went and saw the Vizlas, but I don't think that we got any pics of them. I do have to say that I thought that out of all the breeds, the Vizlas had one of the best informational areas.

I think the reason I didn't get the Viszla's may have been because they were in the ring when I was in the benched area. I also like to ask permission before I take pictures and if folks are busy, I don't like to bother them which is why I didn't take pics of more dogs.

I happen to love the IKC show and was there among all of the Vizslas. Meilani, you did not have any pics of the V's.... Did you not make it down the aisle?

This year they did not have the breed booth contest as in year past - I am not sure why. We (the VCOI) entered it and one first in Sporting Group last year.

Jaime - the results are already listed at Onofrio's site.....

It would be fun to meet up next year - I might just be promoting my first litter of pups!

My Cairn is AKC and intact. I am going to start showing her in May, she is 9 months old. I have shown horses nationally, but not dogs, so this will be new to me. I am looking forward to it. I also have a golden retriever that I am working on in obedience.

IKC is the International Kennel Club show. It is an AKC show so your dog would have to be AKC registered and intact to compete there..it was held in Chicago IL and is one of the last remaning benched all breed shows, IKC and the Kennel Club of Phila shows

I have never been there and was hoping to go this year but stuck closer to home looking for my ribbons which paid off pretty good for Markie and the Boston I got to handle.

well friday i was in the ring, and everything was fine until i stepped in the ring, and yet i still won my class, saturday due to pulling fergie i was the desiginated dog holder. and bait holder and ribbon holder and well you get the picture.

GREAT PICS!!! I see you got a pic of one of my favorite colors!! BLUE!!!

How about this same weekend I was showing in NY and got roped into handling my friends Boston!! Took the breed and got to show him in the group Friday and Saturday...I thought of you the whole time.

And Jeff, now looking at Meilani's pics..I have to wonder IF you really was there as I saw K in the ring of her pics but not YOU...LOL! Yeah, yeah, I know ...you'll give me some story like who do you think was holding the dogs

This is a dumb question, but what is IKC? Does your dog have to be registered with IKC to show here? I'm not familiar.

You are absolutly correct i could have gotten the results, if i hadnt been a little tied up with 8 dogs of ours, plus 1 from canada, my wife and her friend anne plus that being the first time in 5 years i stepped in a show ring, but you are right i should have thought of you and those results. She is a cutie...I'm trying to find out results from the show as Jodi told me she talked to some one in Am Staffs who won and Knew me...so I am CURIOUS!!!!

Of course Jeff could have found that out for me while he was there and didn't so as his favorite red headed evil step sister I will just have to abuse him MORE!!!!!
