First, people were able to win by cheating. You seem to have changed the rules in mid stream, and I'm not sorry that you took my dog's image down because she would not have accepted a prize from a tainted competition anyway. I'm very disappointed at how this was all handled, and that the honest participants paid the price.

We have found a really lovely home (of the dream house variety). I have been using a plant stand for an elevated drinking stand. It is pretty battered and way to ugly to put in this beautiful custom kitchen (cherry of course ). I started to look for one on line. I used a search engine and dog.com came up with an option. It was on sale great. When delivered it had apparently been damaged in shipping. I called the 800 number. A lovely woman clearly explained everything to me. Asked a couple of questions and informed me they would be shipping a new one. They took care of contacting UPS. The second stand is on the way to my house. WOW this was so easy and they really lived up to their statements regarding customer satisfaction. I do believe dog.com just made its way into my dog supplies favorites...

...of cheating regarding the Cutest Dog competition. Now, many of us who entered don't really expect OUR dog to win, but we do expect that the dog that does win does so without benefit of cheating. I'm hearing reports of "hiding IP addresses" so that multiple votes can be cast. And, one cute puppy has amassed over 6,000 votes this week! Excuse me, but if one of the best known dogs on this forum has less than 50, what does that say? I'd be expecting vote totals in the hundreds maybe for a really cute pup, but most people vote for a dog that they know. I hope that dog.com will figure out whether cheating is going on, and, if so, will award the money to a dog that deserves it, not a dog that is being enriched by being dishonest. Comments?

I'd just like to say that I don't feel that your moderating is fair and balanced. I feel that the moderators are very heavily weighted towards one direction and don't allow for discussion that might "rock the boat." I also feel that the moderators are arbitrarily moving posts to areas where they do not belong, just because they want to hide them away and not cause a stir or hurt any feelings. If that's the case, just delete the thread. But oh, then you'd have to explain why you did that and since the thread didn't break any rules, well, I guess that would be hard to do.

I'm also tired of moderators going into threads and editing out the bits and pieces they don't like.
