We let our big cats from outside in to visit Tempo last night and they all get along fine.

LMAO That happened to us too... Luke was Lola for a couple months and even the vet said it was a she in the first appointment and then... this little furry thingys appeared oh well...

He did really well traveling in the carrier and also for the exam.

He was wormed again, the Dr didn't feel that the rescue had given me enough. I described his pooping to the vet and he said it's normal. But, we are feeding a little too much. So, now he's given me the amounts and a schedule and it should help.

He had the distemper vaccine today. And, we are going back in three weeks for something else and he said at six months he'll be ready for his first rabies and around then he can be neutered.

He's wiped out now and sleeping near DH while he works on the computer.

Do kittens tend to have side effects from the shots. I know Willow had gotten a bit of diarrhea and was feeling a little off for a couple of days after hers. But, she was older.

Thanks for all your help.

He's a LOVE, I don't know how we are going to part with him.

Cats that age are simply adorable. I hope everything goes well with the vet, you will see generally little cats love the attention at the vet's office. In our case, we have to take Luke (the black cat) sedated. He totally *hates* the vet, any vet... poor thing. Once the vet even came to our house and he figure it out in a second, so it had to be sedated anyway. The other cat loves the vet, go figure!

Re: My first foster kitten

Well, unless we stop in the morning she's going to be naked this time. The little harness I bought doesn't fit, she's so tiny.

My cats go in their carriers (with collars on, they normally always have their tags on). The carrier is never opened until we are in the exam room - but none of my cats are runners. If you have a runner, or a cat that is easier spooked - leashing is not a bad idea.

Not really something you have to worry about with the tiny ones though =]

Re: My first foster kitten

Thank you Kim!!
