Beautiful photos! I've never heard of a long-haired Weim -- I think they're really beautiful! I'm glad you included some pics of them, too. I also love the shot of your Mom and her both her grand "kids!"

I don't know where next year's event will be in WA state, but if it's not too far from where we are in western Oregon, I might have to go up there to meet you all!

Wow! What gorgeous dogs! I may be biased but I think Scout is the best looking one there. Well next to the LH Weimies. They are stunning.

We had a fantastic time. I'm totally worn out and glad its over in some ways. But I really hope to make it to next years. It was so worth all the driving.

The long-haired weim is not recognized here in the US. However, in europe and australia it is recognized as a variation on the breed. There are a few breeders in Canada that reputably breed for long haired weims. These two were from one of the canadian breeders. I think if I lived way up in canada or alaska I would look to get a long-haired weim as they would handle the cold weather better. They are beautiful dogs and these two were GREAT at agility.

I have never seen a long haired Wiem....is that a rare find? If I were to have come across one in a shelter my first thought would be

what a cute Wiem mix baby!

I met some really fantastic people, sold some of my art and tons of greeting cards. It was so much fun and I'm already trying to work out how to get to nationals next year in WASHINGTON state(what a long haul that will be).
