Dottie and Ike: training at breakfast

This was Dottie and Ike yesterday morning on the roof deck on my house. I tried to get Obie up he said "no way" so an Obie obedience video (I usually call him "Ob" and one of his instructors actually thought I named him "Obedience"!) will have to wait. First half of the video shows Dottie training for 1 minute and then spent the next three min tugging which is very typical of a Dottie session ... Second half is just Ike goofing it up. Very basic imprinting stuff. He already has the closest "front" finish of the three dogs ... literally slamming into my knees every time.

Look what my mama found. She sent some pics home with me last time we were there and I found this one of our Dobe.

"Daringer's Thunder of LaBrae" He was raised from a puppy with our Chinese pug "Boliver". Thunder never knew he was a dobe, he thought he was the size of a pug and many a coffee table in our house was turned upside down when they would get the zoomies.

He was a beautiful boy and the recent treads of Josie and Bevo made me think of some wonderful memories of Thunder.

I always feel bad because you guys have practically watched K&W grow up, and i never post pics of Josie. I have never had a problem with photobucket/this forum before, but lately all my pics are too big and every one has to be resized. I taught him how to sit and lay down today, he picked it up in about 5 minutes! I'm amazed at how fast he learns, but he still isnt interested in stuffy toys which is a bummer. He likes to spend his day sleeping on my lap or following me around. He tries to play with the other dogs but they either ignore him or they move to quick and he gets scared. Russell is still scared to death of him, he even snapped at Atticus this morning and he NEVER does that with any dog. Everythings going well though, he eats like a piggy and loves to go on his short walks. He prances like a little show dog with his tail high in the air and his head held high, you cant even hear him when hes walking/running around. Last night I was working on come with him and he ran so fast his feet flew out from underneath him and he slid across the tile floor a good 3 feet, haha. He's taking a nap in my lap right now he was tired after taking these pictures and chasing me outside. Hope you like the pictures!

it was a hard start for potty training, he would just sit on my foot every time I'd take him out. He's better about it now though, he'll potty within a couplw mins being out there.

from yesterday. Unfortunately, all the dogs' eyes had that green glow to them. I figured out how to get rid of it when I take pictures at home- I just turn the flash off on the camera. I don’t think the guy who was taking the pictures had that option. The pictures probably wouldn’t have come out at all if he had turned the flash off.
