  Re: Rash--UPDATE Reply Contact calliecritturs: it all depends on whether the doctor thot it was topically caused or internally caused. Wondering if the fact that he gave the pills rather than ointment means he does think its internally caused?? THAT makes sense to me. I have a thought....... last night he was a little upset about something......we went for flu shots yesterday and he gets a little nervous..... today when we were rushing after work to go get something to eat before trick-or-treat time....he was itching like crazy...... he said to night it was worse than ever.  But..... a beer and a little time later..he is not scratching at all.   I did tell him to keep using the Gold Bond since it seemed to help...he is leary.   HHHmmm!   calliecritturs Joined on 09-10-2007 Central Florida Posts 10,865 Points 3,330	Re: Rash--UPDATE Reply Contact Sure it's internal since he wanted to do an oral med.  And most rashes like that ARE stress-related.  He'd be better off with something like passionflower or valerian rather than beer -- beer is MADE from hops (which is processed like yeast in the body).
