    Welcome!

Hello. I just typed something like "dog message boards" into google and found this place. I tend to drift on and off of boards, but I enjoy whatever time I spend on them.

I live in Metairie, La with my Dog Rebel. He's an Amstaff/Boxer mix. VERY hyper around other people but just a big old snuggle bunny around me. He's about 100lbs.

I'm looking around for a little sister for him, but I'll post more about that in another forum.

Anyone from around my way? Speak up. I got no friends. Be my damn friend. ;)

    Re: Welcome!

Once again we have a Pit type person sending out a questionable message and receiving no welcomes.  I have responded to your other post and now responding to this one. If Rebel's pictures are current, he looks like a healthy and happy 50 pound  APB cross.  If he is 100 pounds then you need to go and have a chat with a vet, so I am thinking that your post is some kind of a joke.  If I am wrong sorry; if I am right....I think, from what I read in your other post, that you may have a healthy little guy that you actually do care about.

    Re: Welcome!

Sorry for not responding. I haven't had a chance to sit down and honestly wasn't sure how active this forum was...

I generally say Amstaff rather than APBT because of the negative stereotypes associated with the word "pit." I know there's a difference, but I don't care... Actually I often just say American terrier. But I don't think it honestly matters to most people.

He is very healthy and sees the vet regularly. He may be a bit chubby, but not unhealthily so. He's just big. The lady I got him from mentioned that he had rottweiler in him, but I don't see it. But he is heavier than he looks.

Good job on guessing the weight. Those are old pics and he's probably about 50lbs in those. I don't own a camera, so all other pics are on my phone. My old cell got stolen so I lost a bunch. I keep saying I'm going to go buy a camera but I just never do.

    Re: Welcome!

So, I will start over...welcome to the forum...sorry I was suspicious.   I just read your other post and it made me laugh out loud.  This is a really active forum.  Lots of experience out there.  Sometimes it is intense and other times funny, but always informative.  Smile

    Enjoy...
