    New Dog Brand

    Hi,

My partner and I are in the process of creating an Organic and Green dog brand: www.nvelife.com.  All products will be completely recyclable and the food is 100% organic.

We would really appreciate consumer feedback as this is being created for everyone!  So please check out the site and let us know what you think.

    Thanks!

    Howard

Ingredient & nutrient lists would be great.  Without having those posted, your website is rather pointless.

Agree with Amanda. While your website is attractive, and I like the concept of organic food/recyclable products - without a nutritional analysis and ingredients list, I would never even consider your purchasing your food.

We actually are in the process of reaching out to Manufacturers.  Should we list our proposed nutritional facts?

    Thanks

If you want honest feedback, yes.  We look at ingredients, placement of ingredients, etc, as well as the GA

Great, thanks for the feedback!  We'll get working on nutritional facts ASAP.

We're currently running a contest to find the face of n'velife.  If interested please check it out and send any pictures/information.

    Thanks!

I have six beautiful german shepherds, however I would not lend their likeness to any product that I was not convinced was outstanding.  Yeah, many gsd's look alike, but I would know.  I think that you'll find that many of us feel the same way.

As a note, what I look for in a food?  No corn, wheat or soy, no grain fragments or glutens, animal byproduct, NAMED meat and meat meal (chicken as opposed to the generic poultry).  There's more, but that's a good start.

    Re: New Dog Brand

I hate to break it to you but dogs are not vegetarians. They are omnivores with a strong leaning towards carnivores. They can eat and process some vegetable matter, especially if it's already broken down but the primary source of their nutrition is animal protein. My dog eats leaves and grass. He also eats cotton rats but he hasn't figured out yet that he can eat squirrels and birds. He just plays with them until they are dead and loses interest afterwards. I feed my dog a kibble. But given the finances, I ensure that it is meat meal first with some kind of dead animal.

I appreciate the political motivation of the food. I could care less about my dog's "carbon footprint," especially since CO2 is not causing global warming. If you like, I can give some real science, not the religious political stuff that gets pushed by the mainstream media. I'm talking about real science from scientists that do experiments and observe, not just play computer games at the UN. It's bad enough for trying to make people feel guilty for exhaling (which is how we release CO2 to the atmosphere) but I won't have someone trying to place guilt on my dog or on me for having a dog.

    I should probably hush, now.
