    This should be fun!

I put Maze in to basic puppy obedience starting tomorrow!!! LMAO! I'm hoping *praying* that I can get her focus under control and maybe not get pulled down the street. Lol.  She's a demon on the agility field but she's so bloody fast, I can't get her to focus and she takes pieces out of order.

So think of me tomorrow around 3pm. Lol

    Re: This should be fun!

I'm in a similar situation with Nikon, he cannot pass the 3 minute leave for the CGC so we are in Intermediate CGC class, again.  You should see him with all the younger dogs that are really disobedience or super reactive.  He is so well behaved and he is already doing full heeling patterns and such but dang it all I cannot leave him with a stranger (without a ball in his mouth) for three minutes!!  We'll just keep taking the class and the test, I guess.... It's frustrating b/c I would never leave my dogs in the hand of a stranger for one minute, let alone three, and Nikon is ready enough to earn obedience titles, but I really want the CGC certificate b/c I think it's important for the breed, with their bad rap and all.

Also when I first got Kenya we started in a much lower level, mostly to bond and because I needed to learn.  She knew all the skills but it was good for us to repeat it together.

Well the first class went well! Lol! There was only one other puppy that showed up.   Of course! When I put her in a class to work on her focus, she's fine! Walks right over her leave it's (which was a mcd's muffin. Lol)

I agree with the CGC, I want to put one on Maze but I need to work with her issues of resource guarding. *sigh*
