  Zipper's going to be a Daddy again! Reply Contact I'm so very excited! This will be Zipper's first litter with me as legal owner, but he is a seasoned stud dog. His last litter sired was in 2006, three years ago, so I'm very happy there is finally another nice little female for him. The litter is due this weekend, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for healthy delivery. We're hoping for black and silver, salt and pepper, and the possibility of white. Zipper carries white, and the female may or may not (she has white in her history...but has never been bred to a white-producing stud), so we shall see!! Wish us luck this weekend for the delivery of some beautiful Schnauzer babies! Zipper, 6 yo. Gaci, 5 yo. Shimmer, 2.5 yo.

Xrays shows she should be having 6-7 pups......a larger than average litter. So there should be lots of fun! At 5 weeks: And as an adult (with shortened furnishings): Zipper, 6 yo. Gaci, 5 yo. Shimmer, 2.5 yo.

It depends as much as on genetics as it does on grooming. A handstripped white will (or should!!) have the same rough coat as any other color. Clipping softens the coat of any color as well. It could be because most of the Schnauzies I've groomed have been from horrifying breeders, but all the whites have had super soft (like Maltese soft) coats. I'd looove to see a proper white, if you have any photos.

Reply Contact She decided to take her good ole time, but upon a phone call this evening she is definitely in labor now!! So there should be pups by tomorrow....like normal it'll likely start around 2:30 am.... Zipper, 6 yo. Gaci, 5 yo. Shimmer, 2.5 yo.

  Re: Zipper's going to be a Daddy again! Reply Contact Apparently my numbers were off...I quoted 6-7 pups, but apparently the xrays did not show that...lol. Not sure if I was sleeping or what, but I'm a little crazy and that is not what the xray showed! Anyhow, Kaper gave birth to four healthy pups overnight last night. Three females, one male. The females are all salt and pepper; the male is black and silver. I'll be going to visit sometime in the next couple of days to get some photos for everyone and see my "grandbabies". Zipper, 6 yo. Gaci, 5 yo. Shimmer, 2.5 yo.
