The Contest Was Not a Success

First, people were able to win by cheating.  You seem to have changed the rules in mid stream, and I'm not sorry that you took my dog's image down because she would not have accepted a prize from a tainted competition anyway.  I'm very disappointed at how this was all handled, and that the honest participants paid the price.

This seems to be a popular opinion. Too bad really. I'm sure it was done to promote the company and possibly boost membership but it probably should have been done differently. I think the prize, though fantastic, drew in a lot of folks trying to make some cash. The whole idea I find ludicrous. How do you ever pick "the cutest dog"? Everyone thinks their dog is the cutest or at least the most deserving. LOL!  Dog.com would have been better off draw someone out of a hat or actually judge the dogs themselves. Of course no one would want to  be 'that' guy!

I actually went to vote for you Anne. There were literally 1,000's of photos! Sorry, I couldn't find her.

Hopefully the next contest will work out better.

Same thing happened to me, Denise.  I thought I'd grow old and die sitting at the computer wading through all those dogs.  There should be some way of assigning numbers to contestants so people can go directly to the dog they want to vote for.
