    Calcium oxcylates

My male Pom has calcium oxcylates. Was diagnosed a few years ago and was switched to a u/d dog food and we limit protein given to him.  All has been well for the past year with no oxcylates in urine.  Now, they are back.  Only change in diet is that we've had to start giving him Reglan at night for reflux.  Has anyone ever had the same problem.  i've read that Reglan is processed in the kidneys so I was wondering if there might be a connection?

That's not a dumb thot -- I don't know, but it's worth checking out.  Have they thot about giving him Prilosec since it's a reflux problem?

That's a great thought.  He goes for his annual shots/visit in a few weeks.  I will definitely ask.Smile
