Hi there,
I just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Amanda and I am owned by four wonderful dogs. I live in Alberta, Canada.

Wicca is an almost 6 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi. She is a wild child and likes to do everything as fast as possible. We compete in Agility, and placed 2nd this year at the AAC National Championships. Typical of her breed she is very sassy and opinionated. She is independent but loves to learn and play.

Boone is a 6 year old Pyrenean Shepherd or Berger des Pyrenees. I have had him for two years now. He is the funniest dog in the house, and is always doing something goofy. The breed is typically shy and timid- he is very good with people and it doesn't take long for him to make friends. He is sound sensitive though, but is doing very well. The breed is very curious and he is no exception. He goes around poking things with his pointy nose and is into everything. He too competes in Agility and Rally.

Vito is an almost 3 year old Border Collie/Corgi cross. He was a rescue that I fostered and couldn't give up. He is the laziest dog in the house, but the most affectionate. He loves to snuggle and is quite often at my feet. He is a complete mush. Vito and I don't have a great working relationship and he much rather would be at home sleeping on the couch. I don't do agility with him very often.

Pixel is the baby. She is just a year old and is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. She is very sassy, bossy, and quick. Just how I like 'em! Pixel has a fluff coat which means that she can't be shown in Conformation but she can do anything else we want to. She is doing great in Agility class, and is a fantastic worker. She is a quick thinker, and loves to learn new things. Pixel is very independent and does not like to be held. She likes attention on her terms. She's very much a Diva.

I also have an old German Shepherd. Kate is going to be 11 years old this year and spent her younger days playing agility and obedience with me. She lives with my parents now, and is enjoying her retirement on the couch! She is a serious dog, who struggled with fear and anxiety issues her whole life. She has finally relaxed in her old age and is loving life. She loves to fetch, and still has quite a lot of spunk for an old dog!
I am kept pretty busy with the dogs, and all the stuff that we do. I enjoy forums like this as it is nice to talk to like minded people. I look forward to getting to know some of you and your dogs!
