    Grooming Powder

I took both my dogs to the groomers yesterday and they are itching like crazy.  I think it's the powder.  I have soaked their bottoms in cold water but it didn't help.   I could give them a full bath with dog shampoo but I don't want to make it worse.  Any suggestions?  Thanks...

If they were mine, I would bathe them, & give them a dose of benadryl.

Huh?  Did they use a dry shampoo or something?  What breed(s) are they?  Are just their bottoms itchy?  If you were my grooming client, I would want you to call me and describe EXACTLY what you're observing.

    Re: Grooming Powder

They are small breed mixes.  It was just their bottoms and it looked almost like a sunburn.  I gave them the benadryl and bought some pet relief hydrocortisone spay.  They are feeling  much better now.  I am thinking they may have been shaved too close so I'm on the lookout for a new groomer.  Thanks for your help.

    Re: Grooming Powder

That sounds like clipper burn, or an irritation from being shaved. Poor puppers.
