    Sookie The Hedgie.

    New addition- Sookie the hedgehog. 8 weeks & cute as pie eh?

    Oh she is cute as pie.  But then the other two babies are too.

    You wouldn't happen to be a TrueBlood fan are you?  LOVE that show and the books are great!

     Oh my gosh. I want one!!! So cute. Now a question? Can you play with them? You know like pick it up and let it crawl on you and stuff?

    I've never seen a WHITE one.  Is this one tame?  You don't generally see them as pets in the US

     Haha thanks everyone.

     Yes you can play with them & handle them...they need alot of socialization from a young age or you risk the chance of them being unsocial.

    Yup- Callie, they are tame...some lol. This little gal is, I happen to be in FL aswell. There are many breeders in this area. Smile

     Cute little critter!  I saw one in a pet store but I was afraid to hold it!  I couldn't get the image of a porcupine out of my head!!

     What kind is it?  I've only ever seen African Pygmy hedgehogs as pets before.

    I actually work with a volunteer who runs a hedgie rescue in FL. They bring some in to work every now and the - such neat little guys, I love holding them!
