    rw-checking in from Disney World

hi all...just now remembered I have 'net for a price here lol. Been in a bubble...lol..a magical bubble! Things have been great...about no lines, walked on to most of the "big stuff" waiting longer for Dumbo and the baby stuff...maybe 20mins? We're doing Animal Kingdom today...last park! dunno what we'll do after that since we're done! When the parks are so empty you are pretty much done doing everything  by what 2-3pm?

Kids are having fun, Elias is his typical "don't like change" routine, but we're dealing. Lily has been a buying fool with her immense stash of dollars she sved lol. We're actually having a nice time, riding most of the stuff we wanted to and finding the bus system a major relief for stress...esp the designated driver, the hubby.

Well I guess that'll do for now...I have taken a ton of pics but like a dolt forgot the cableto transfer them to my netbook, lol!! oh well...hope everyone is behaving and safe from this swine flu they seem to think is pretty serious. Hope we can get home! well, sorta hope we can get home...teehee.

Glad that you're having a great time.  (Not having to wait in long lines always makes things better!)

That trick of going to the 'back' of the park *first* and working your way back to the front really helps (besides, you're closer to the entrance when you're tired! LOL)

Remember, City Walk is FREE (that's the outer part of Universal) - tons of shopping and food and the movie theatres.  Themed restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe, NASCAR Cafe, etc.) and you can do that at night *or* during the day.

Epcot has the best fireworks at night, but Magic Kingdoms are no slouch either.  9:00 I *think*.

Either park will tell you where the characters will be if you want autographs.  Ask at the gate.  At Epcot they have set times when the bus of characters comes in, so you can be there early if you want (I *think* they're still near the big fountain just behind and  to the right of the Epcot silver globe.

Did you go thru Spaceship Earth?  Did you get your pictures at the end and email them to yourself??  That IS fun.

lol Callie...trust me we have done EVERYTHING we actually want to do at this point. Rest of the week is doing the things we liked again...visiting a couple parks at night, last night we did Fantasmic...which was totally awesome. The kids would actually care less about the characters, we always walk by those lines and giggle...that cracks us up. LINES! for someone in a costume...oh well.

We hit Expedition Everest, that Safari thing, and the water raft ride today at AK...probably go back again another day since we did miss a couple things I think.

Been great listening to all the foreign languages here and talking with folks. Lily has made a different friend everytime at the pool...Elias is a tan dude right now too. lol.

Trying to decide what to do for dinner...hmmm....
