OK, I really DO need a vacation. If it's not the people in my life acting wierd, it's the critters!
The cats gave me unholy, unmitigated grief because I dared to come into the bathroom this morning without their wet. Gee, sometimes I can't wait the minute or two it takes to get it ready and they can deal with that! Nope, despite giving them their dry to divert their attention, there I sit, trying to do my thing with three cats telling me off. Sigh.
Then, I come back out here to GET their wet and discover Theo hiding under the table with the whole BOX of tissues, pulling them out by the mouthful to destroy. Shadow is sitting in the chair at the computer scarfing down my coffee and someone had peed all over the kitchen floor. Of course someone had also gone into the bathroom and dumped the trash all over the floor before I got back there. The cats open the door to nag, the dogs slip in and make messes.....luckily it's really a lot of work for them to get to the cat box since I use clumping litter. Don't really need anyone obstructing.
I think I'm just gonna forget drinking coffee and have an IV line hooked up so I can mainline it!
Did I fall into a time warp? This IS April, right? We are getting a wintry mix today and then Sunday supposed to get actual ACCUMULATION! Ummmmm, I was done with winter back in mid-January.......this has gotta be some sort of sick cosmic joke.
But....did finally get to replace two of the 3 RV batteries. Now I can use my generator again. I think I'm going to have DS pull the engine one though and take it back to Sears to be replaced. Now, with two fresh batteries I can turbo charge and start the RV, but, all winter we've had to jumpstart the darned thing and a less than year old battery should NOT need constant charging. We are plugged into shore power, we run this thing very regularly, even when we had to jump it to do so, and there is no reason for it to die so soon. Since it's still under warranty, they'll give him a new one.
Well, shoot. Just looked out the window and realized that roomie didn't take the trash can out last night. Guess I'd best get it out.
I certainly hope everyone else has had a great morning!
