We have one at work, we hate it.  Its funny just a few days ago someone was asking about it so Dr T tells me to "Go get the nail thing we all hate" to show the lady...lol. Its LOUD.... and slow.... we never use it.

I have one, and I hate it, takes forever to file the nails, it's slow but I didn't find it to be to loud.

Looks to me like a dremel with a plastic shield around most of it. Might not be a bad idea for long-haired dogs like Rascal - it's always a struggle to get his leg hairs safely out of reach of the dremel's rotating head.

I did that to Lillie once with a regular dremel.Indifferent  So I just stick to the nail clipper for her.

I was looking at those pedipaws too today!! They sell them at walmart. I will just keep my 20bucks and use the dremel we have here at home.

I don't have one but my friend does. He said it lacks power.  It stops with too much pressure and takes forever.

For the long hair dogs, take an old nylon legging and put it over the paw, pushing the nails through the fabric. I do this with Maze and it keeps her fur out of the way of the dremel. Smile
