    HELP for a marking rescue

I'm having a very difficult time finding/making a belly band that works well for an older rescued poodle (15 and used for breeding, never neutered). I have one of the tie ones that I've had to make and it's a double width one because he is such a marker.  I also put in two sanitary napkins. He's managing to go around the belly band - I don't know how but I'm finding dribbles all over the kitchen and throughout the house which,
as you can imagine is encouraging everyone else in the house to mark, too.

Does anyone have a pattern for a snug fitting belly band or do you know where I can buy one? I've been to the pet stores but haven't
been able to find anything that works.

Re: HELP for a marking rescue

    1.  *don't* use a sanitary napkin -- use a continence pad!!  They are made to hold very thin liquids and it won't leak as badly.  I usually buy the super thick ones and very LONG -- then cut them in half.  Use nylon first-aid-tape to seal those cut edges (it won't scratch him but it won't repel liquid either).

    2.  Make sure he goes out regularly -- don't let him lose the desire TO potty outside

    3.  Try using vet wrap (you can get it in the first aid section of any drug store - it's just not in colors) == don't get it too tight but it will help hold it on better.

    Good luck!
