hi and welcome to the forum!

you are already in a good place, to learn mor about your pups!

a few things off the top of my head:

-take them to the vet (if you havent already done this) this should always be the first step after getting your dog. this is to get any shots they might need and an overal exam. this way you know your pups are healthy and off to a good start Smile

-enroll them in a obedience class. this is really good socialization for the pups, plus they can learn some basic obedience, and you can learn how to train them

-make sure to give them each some one-on-one time with you. i hear that when you get 2 pups they sometimes end up bonding more with each other than with the owner. to be honest though my two dogs (see my signature) have been together since puppies and are only about 3 months apart in age, and i never had that problem Wink but it is still a good idea to give one-on-one time, just because it will be easier for training at first (less distraction) and just in case of some emergency (trust me, that WILL happen, lol) where you might have to take one to the vet and leave the other at home, and things like that... :)

hmm, that's about all i can come up with for now. for sure there are other things though... :)

oh and post some pics of your pup *hint, hint* puppy pics are ALWAYS appreciated around here! Wink

    Hi and welcome!

I'm Dyan. I am the mom of Gibson,,, my baby Great Dane. Well,,,he is growing up and 6 months old now...but still a baby.   The picture in my avatar is my Great Dane Bubblegum...I lost her in March.

Lots of great information here. I spend most of my time in the health and nutrition sections myself.
    Yeah...Janet is 100% CORRECT...we love pictures here.

Enroll in a puppy class as soon as possible.  Your pups are learning every day and it might as well be things you want to teach them rather than how to get all the toilet paper off the roll.  The most important socialization period for puppies ends at 16 weeks.  This time is very critical for a well rounded dog.  Take the pups as many places as you can.  Let them hear new sounds, see new things, smell new smells and meet new people and other dogs and other animals.  Many people believe that they have socialized their puppies because they go to visit Grandma once a week.  This is not enough.  This time is when your pups are learning how to learn and the more experiences they have the easier they will be to live with and to train.  BTW, puppy class is not really for training but for the experience of meeting new dogs and people but is very valuable and you may meet a great trainer!

Have fun with your pups!  What are the ages and breed, if known?
