  Search & Rescue dog (Ike aftermath) is a pit bull Reply Contact I was looking through the newspaper's photo slideshow about the Hurricane Ike cleanup and search and rescue.  Three of the slides show a search and rescue dog being treated for a wound to his foot from broken glass.  It is a pit bull named "Doc".  We mostly hear and read about the bad things that (some) pit bulls do and I figured you all would enjoy seeing something positive.  I am not sure how to post it, but here is the site.  You may need to search for it.  It was slides 21-23 of the photo slideshow under the section "Ike". www.mysanantonio.com
