    Little Brag on Co-Co

For the last couple of months Co-Co and I have been biking on the Tow Path along the C&O canal.  For most of this it is basically a trail through a wooded area.  When we first started going she saw some squirrels on the trail, didn't pull me off but did run faster towards them.  Thankfully, when they went into the woods she stopped.  Since then we've also seen wild turkey, deer, horses, and of course other dogs.  When we first started she wanted to go investigate everything we went past.  Then she learned to ignore them while running but if we stopped or slowed way down she wanted to go investigate.

Well last time we went for a ride I heard wild turkeys in the woods beside us and we stopped b/c I wanted DH to see them since he wasn't with us last time they were there.  I kinda expected to be pulled to the edge of the trees, but no!  Co-Co just sat down and watched them for a few seconds.  She didn't seem to care that they were there.  She was more interested in getting a drink and getting moving again.

    I was amazed.

Good girl, CoCo!  I know Grady would have me on my butt if he saw even one squirrel.
